Light weight instrument oil ideally suited for application on exposed parts such
as those located on the top half of the phonograph movement where good lubrication and
limiting dust is of paramount importance. This rust-inhibiting oil produces a thin
lubricating film and does not attract dust like conventional oil. No silicone. Also, use
this oil on steel gears mated with brass gears. When mating gears are both steel, use
Bearing Oil. Lead Screw Oil is too light to use as Bearing Oil. |
Convenient size and shape to fit in the phonograph cabinet. The top works of the
phonograph should be oiled every third or fourth playing session, or
after two to three months. This oil, with Bearing Oil, is needed to
fulfill the essential maintenance, in order to insure maximum peak performance
from your mechanical record player. |
The correct weight oil to penetrate and stay in spring motor bearings. Also use
this oil when mating gears are made of the same material. Resists moisture. Use on
governor shaft as well as brake and governor yoke leathers and pads. |
Convenient size and shape to fit in the phonograph cabinet. This oil, with
Lead Screw oil, is needed to fulfill the essential maintenance, in order to insure maximum
peak performance from your mechanical record player. The spring motor should be oiled
